Royal Recognition: Life Sciences Learner Hub Transforms Advanced Therapies Training

The Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult’s Skills team celebrated at Fishmongers’ Hall in London on 2nd December 2025 as the organisation secured a Princess Royal Training Award for the second time, recognising its Skills and Training Programmes for advancing careers and closing critical skills gaps in cell and gene therapy.

This prestigious recognition validates the Life Sciences Learner Hub’s transformative impact. By consolidating fragmented workplace learning into one accessible platform, the Life Sciences Learner Hub has revolutionised how professionals and employers access development opportunities in advanced therapies.

Since launching in December 2020, 3,492 learners have completed over 9,500 courses through the Hub – powerful evidence of the sector’s hunger for high-quality training that drives both individual advancement and organisational performance.

The Princess Royal Training Awards represent the UK and Ireland’s premier standard for training excellence.
